While studying up for my Cookie Connoisseurs Camp this summer, some amazing Cookie Cookbooks were recommended to me. These are all from cookie connoisseurs which I admire and aim to rise to their level of expertise.
Maida Heatter’s Brand-New Book of Great Cookies After a marvelous taste of some of these made for a recent Christmas party, I asked the hostess for her secrets. She said the secret’s were all Maida’s. Wonderful recipes are included from some famous names, including Craig Claiborne.
Martha Stewart’s Cookies: The Very Best Treats to Bake and to Share Who could go wrong with a book from Martha? What’s great about this book is not just the recipes, as most are fairly average but each recipe has a photo and this is truly an encyclopedia of cookies. Thank you to one of my best friends for gifting this to me.
Sarabeth’s Bakery: From My Hands to Yours For those who know me, each recipe I attempt has a notation in the book rated from one stars to five with a hand written review next to the recipe. This book is so gorgeous you may not want to do that but leave it on your coffee table for your guests to oogle over. This book was recommended by one of my sisters who is such an accomplished cook she should be writing this book herself.
Send me your favorite cookbooks or recommendations on the above!
