As some of you know (and some of you don’t) the Food Network phoned in May after finding my website.   What ensued was an extensive interview process but Omar, Aida and I were flattered to be selected for the Chef and Kids episode of Guy Fieri’s cooking competition.   On the show we have 30 minutes to determine what we’re cooking, shop for the ingredients, cook and present our dish.    It was an incredible experience and we hope you’ll have a chance to watch the results on TV  Sunday, January 4th.

Guy’s Grocery Games Family Style: Kids Rule! — Jan. 4 at 8|7c

Four competing families start by joining the breakfast club, but this is Watch Your Weight, so they can cook with only a certain amount of ingredients. Next, the families must make a hot lunch ABC style, using only ingredients whose name begins with a certain letter. The final two families go head-to-head in the dreaded game of Food Wheel.  Competitors: Bruno Family, Chiovera Family, Roberts Family, Robertson Family
