5-spice Peach and Raspberry Salad

1 ½ tablespoon cider vinegar

1 teaspoon maple syrup

¼ teaspoon Chinese 5-spice powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

¼ cup shallot, thinly sliced


3 ½ ounces raspberries

2 cups peaches, cut into ¼ inch wedges

2 cups watercress (or other lettuce greens)

2 cups radicchio, cut into ¾ inch pieces



How to make this recipe

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the vinegar, maple syrup, 5-spice powder, oil and shallots with ¼ teaspoon of salt.
  2. Add the raspberries, lightly crushing them with the back of a fork.
  3. Add the peaches, watercress (or lettuce) and radicchio.
  4. Mix well and serve.
