4 T. olive or regular oil
1 med. onion, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 red peppers, chopped (don’t use green)
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
4 T. chili powder
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 cup beer
1# ground turkey
2 cans chili beans (or 1 can pinto and 1 can kidney)
2 15-oz. cans diced tomatoes (or 1 28-oz can)
2 4-oz. cans diced black olives
Heat oil in skillet. Cook onion, garlic and peppers for 5 minutes. Add turkey, cumin and chili powder and cook until turkey is no longer pink. Add all other ingredients and cook gently for 1/2 hour. To serve, top with grated cheese, chopped onion and sour cream.
