La Toque’s Cooking Camp series brings cooking know how and fun to young children, tweens and teens It’s all about letting the next generation have a blast with food and passing down culinary life skills from one generation to the next. Camp activities include cooking instruction, hands on projects, taste tests and contests. Campers will bring home their marvelous creations to share with their families and recipes to practice in their own kitchens.
In single classes, students will learn the techniques and recipe listed and, time permitting, a bonus recipe. Cooking techniques will be from basic to intermediate and will inspire your young cook to take over the kitchen for family dinners and to instill a life long love of cooking, Some classes are offered for adults or all ages. These classes will give confidence in the kitchen while having fun and meeting mew people. Register at least 24 hours before class.
All sessions will be taught in a home setting in downtown Palo Alto.
